I have just rebuilt a 583cc engine, I bought it fully stripped about 3 years ago as a spare for me. Fortunately never needed to use it. So its been lovingly refreshed by me, with new Big End bearings, mains are good they were not replaced. Cylinder heads fully stripped and valves lapped in and re-shimmed. New genuine Ducati belts fitted also. This is a true Desmo as I do not run the helper springs on my engines. I shim the closers to zero. My current 620 DD bike is also devoid of these horrendous springs too. :biggrin: It is from a monster as there is no tacho drive on the front head, but could be used with the SS with a Scitsu red backed tacho. £350 PM or phone 07702 137514 if any questions need to be answered
