hello my vastly knowledgeable friends... I have today taken possession of a lil monster. It won't run with the stand down which to me is a pain in the arse. not that I plan on riding with the stand down but for warm up it would be a bonus. IN SIMPLE TERMS *(I have put this in capitals as often this part of the brief is over looked) how do I make it better?
IIRC there is a switch by the stand that plugs into the loom. Short it with a paper clip, see if it starts, and once you have it working use firmer bit of wire and put it in, tape over.
Chizel, If it has the usual switch on the stand pivot bolt (held on with a 8mm headed bolt), take it off, turn to the stand up position and cable tie it between the cylinders somewhere.
