I’d ring round dealers tbh, you might get lucky on a cancelled order. That’s what used to do back in the day when looking for a new bike. There are only a few Ducati dealers so shouldn’t take long, you would also be registering your interest in buying a 698 with those you speak to. You could of course slum it in the cheap seats on a 690/701/700SM, buy the innovator not the follower so to speak. Especially as you’d save a heap of money. Godd Luck
