Hi, as above I need a kick stand mounting bracket for my 748, mine snapped on me yesterday falling luckily on the grass, if any body has one knocking about please let me know, thanks to boys and girls! Benny
that is a pain as it's a F. O. tough forging (nothing else will do) and doesn't come up for sale s/hand very often. I believe whole 1098 etc assy can be made to fit which widens your horizons (even if it probably increases it's price )
Same question for me, the only original ones I could find were over a 100 pounds from abroad and second hand ones on ebay at 50 to 70 with a stand, which I don't need,
Bought mine about 6 months ago from America, second hand of eBay and cost £29 including postage, I think it was from Gotham Cycles. Steve
If your budget will stand it yr bike will sit much nicer on a 848/1098 stand I got one for £40. Eslag.

The same thing happened to me just after I got my 748 and my bolts needed replacement, I found the bolts of eBay easy enough but the bracket was trickier, maybe look for a bike that is being broken, either on eBay or here.
If a private seller is breaking a bike they can go for a reasonable amount (up to £30) it's only when a seller realises that the fixing bracket is desirable that the price gets doubled. The power of the www/Internet eh? Always worth checking that item in question isn't distorted or cracked already as they often are.
