748 748 Engine Markings.

  1. Have all 748s engines got desmo cast into front of the engine?

  3. As above, the R has blank castings (and the larger valve access covers) whereas the 748 Bip, (early)E, SP and SPS all have Desmo cast into the heads.

    There is also a difference in the valve cover plates some heads have smaller covers from the above other models.

  4. R doesn't have it. To get more front wheel clearance
