748 Epansion Tank

  1. hello all, as per title I need an expansion tank as mine has a very small split in it.
    are the available new? I know some have made steel or ally ones, anyone wanna make me one or know someone who will (cheap):D

  2. Hi mate. Russ at Ducati mondo has a shed load of them. Not sure about new though. Hope this helps...

  3. I had a moto wheels alloy one but not cheap. But in the long run turns out cheaper than keep replacing the plastic ones all the time.

  10. I think they accept £136 as best offer. Someone on here bought one not too long ago IIRC.

  13. mine showed up as very tiny drops around the cockpit.
    tbh I thought it was brake fluid from the res as most, albeit a very small amount, was on there and it felt oily. As it turned out...
    Mine has split at the front on the seam but I guess it poss that they split elsewhere? Could be yours has split at the rear so its not visible. Worth checking

  18. It's a shame that one is in the U.S. So I guess the Moto one is a better bet but couldn't find it (possibly same manufacturer anyway)

  19. thanks for the link and the pm @Chris .Given my budget I thought that would be the best bet for now then I thought id call moto rapidio just to see how their prices compare to that standard one on ebay.... They have em in stock for £31.00 incl vat and 1st class post! So as much id like the ally one I've ordered a new standard item. Thanks for all ya help guys
