Hello, Looking for a new upper tube to replace the one corroded one that I have. Ebay has nothing at the moment so I thought i'd reach out and see if anyone has one to sell before I bite the bullet and order one from Ducati.
I think you’ll find a complete set of second hand Showas will cost less than the outer fork tube from Ducati. Have you also tried Showa directly? Their European distributor is in Barcelona and sell ex vat for stuff going into the Uk. https://showabygenuinepartseurope.com/en/
I’ll give them a try but from talking to people it seems that the part has to be purchased through Ducati. I have seen a discoloured set of forks on eBay for £250. Does not seem the best option. Gonna ring JHP and ask them how much the part is.

So just to find out, I asked JHP how much a upper fork tube cost, they said something over £500 each. You can guess my reaction to that. Gonna just have to keep an eye on ebay I guess.
Get the uppers refurbished? Mine were in a bad way but the were brought back from the dead and look lovely now (the fork nearest was after the refurb, the furthest leg is just a good condition standard leg I was using to hold the yoke in alignment during installation. Cheers Richard
Brook said the damage on mine was too deep, so back to square one. saw some promising looking options on ebay in germany, but none of the seller have replied to my messages
