I have bought some aftermarket fairings for use on the track Does anyone know what size bolts and rubber well nuts are used to join upper and lower fairing panels together? Also I already have original panels that are joined everywhere else with Dzus fasteners. The replacement panels dont have the metal clips however so I will need the following metal clips - 2 for the lower half joining under the bike 4 for the headlight fairing where they join the upper fairing I am not sure what clips I need and where best to get them so that they are a decent fit? I picked up some in the past and the actual fasteners seem too long so if I were to use them they would not be tight - I think they are for a 'deeper' application. Also the clips look different to the ones on the original panels in that I think they rivet on. How are the original clips fixed on? Are they just pushed on?
Lover, have you considered getting them from Ducati? They may not be as expensive as you think. The Dzus clips are all the same on the later 748S and R fairings (and 998 except R) with Ducati part number 850.4.019.1A.
