HI All I have just bought a 748R year 2000 to keep my MK1 900SL company :biggrin: I have the vin number and this end with 001635 now having spoken to Ducati UK they confirmed that this was built 24/1/2000 so I'm guessing its an early one ? My question is do you think its number 635 or 35 I dont think they will have built 635 748R's by the end of the January they were realeased. Thanks Simon
According to the standard catalogue of Ducati motorcycles it lists the following 748R England Yellow 2000 = 150 and then 748R Yellow (not sure what this means worldwide!) = 1999\139 - 2000\551. It lists no Red ones for 2000 only from 2001 onwards so I assume yours is Yellow? I hope this helps
