  1. Now im back looking for a ducati after having Japanese bikes last few years.
    Looking for a 748r ohlins model , 996s , 998 , panigale r 2015+ or a v2 bayliss.
Need to be low mileage, low owners and have a fsh with all keys/books etc and very good condition.
Standard the better but would prefer one with a performance exhaust
Located west sussex so the nearer the better as I dont have a van but willing to pay for delivery if its possible.
Let me know what you have

  2. This feels like a post where a new member tries to find out where a load of quite rare Ducatis are garaged?….. cynical maybe

the reason is that all those bikes are so so different they can’t really be compared.

  3. I know there all different as been riding 35 years and owned many bikes including 748 , 959 and 1098 .
Looking for something special and depends what's about as can't decide.
Missed out on a 748r at a ducati dealer and also missed out on a 998 both 5 hours away so asking what's about .
I've been a member since 2019 and I haven't the time to go around looking at rare bikes in people's garages as you put it .
I can delete the post if you wish

  4. Someone on here just advertised what looks like a really honest Bostrom rep 998, there’s also a low miles v2 bayliss at Optimum bikes. There’s a dealer selling a 748r Ohlins slabby also but wants serious money for it, £13k I think, where personally I think they topped at £10k, my mate bought a 2002 with 5k miles on it for £10500 and that seemed pretty expensive at the time.

  5. I've replied to the bostrom post
The bike specialist have 2 x 748r but both 16k lol and the bayliss dealers are asking silly money for used ones .
The 748r i missed out on was 14k but obviously included recommissioning.
As autumn hits prices will drop but so will the amount being sold until spring time again hence why im looking at a variety to see what pops up but in my head im thinking is it worth going back many many years to the 748/996 without any electronics or qs etc but I only do 2500 miles a year dry weather so its nice to have something rare and good to look at
