Ok so as I mentioned in another thread, I saw this pic and thought I might try out something similar on my 749 However I would like to keep my nice shiny yellow fairings intact, so does anyone have any experience of buying 3rd party fairings for a 749? I've had a look online, but its hard to tell what they are like, i'm looking for unpainted ones so I can get them painted myself. I've head bad things about people buying fairings and them not fitting.
I didn't realise the 749 Dark was matt black, i'm having send thoughts now i've seen a pic (although this looks like its got a satin finish) anyway orginal question still stands, can anyone recommend a supplier of unpainted fairings for 749 These look ok DUCATI 749/999 2 x Side panels for£175 I quite like this black Xerox from http://www.suretribe.com
No, I had it done at my local car garage. It's meant to be satin but it's more matt. Fairings are fibreglass from a company in Louth. Had a spill in May so LHS needs respray and I have a new seat fairing that will be fitted over the winter.
Now that's something special, it either needs a bit more red somewhere or go the whole hog and get it all done black. I'm liking that well done.
sorry mines not black but i painted mine in oem red theme + carbon effect stickers. fairings come from protwins and fit a treat!
