hi I have a spare dash for my 749 2003 if I unplug my current dash that works and plug the other spare dash in to test it, I know it won’t start etc, but just to test it comes on, is it likely to mess anything up when I go back to the original one? Thanks
Nothing happened to mine when I did it. The thing I noticed was that the mileage stays with the clocks, so i put my original back on
Can these be repaired? Something or someone dropped and cracked the edge (grey plastic) and cracked the clear front while it was tucked away in the garage! Bummer...
They’re buggers to find though. And nothing may have been dropped on it - they’re well known for stress cracking from the corner of the small display - mine went in exactly the same way, tucked up under its cover in my garage.
