749 Single Seat Conversion Help

So converting the 749 to single seat , modded the mono frame and the only bit I am stuck on now is how to support the rear cowl near the end , it has a 5mm thread mid way I just wondered how Ducati did it or anyone’s version

 

I don’t have that on mine I don’t think sev
