Following my previous woes at Snetterton when the R conked out... Got my bike back from MD Racing on Tuesday. The wiring faults had all been tracked down and fixed, fuelling and TPS checked and reset. Went to Brands (I know...boringly predictable for Baby R owners...) yesterday and am pleased to report: complete success - everything fixed! Mike at MD was extremely surprised that the symptoms that the bike went in with were 100% due to wiring and poor connections giving confusing messages to the ecu. Poor design of the loom if you ask me. Who would put the ecu etc in the worst environmental position on the whole bike - hot, wet, constantly exposed to dirt from the wheel! Gli Italiani - pazzo! R X
They are used to factory techs stripping it between sessions and cleaning them lol Glad it worked out to be something pretty simple. Shame you're not bringing it to Snett this weekend
