800 ss wanted for race project. Must be mechanically sound but cosmetics not an issue.

Hard bike to find in the UK! Please let me know if you see one lying around!

you've probably seen it, but just in case:
ducati 800 ss excellent condition dry use only 5000 miles | eBay

Steel swingarm on that one. Earlier model had lush sculpted alloy arm same as 1000SS.
