Hi guys have had alarm issues as some of you have helped me through it, In the end I disconnected the battery as the alarm kept going off for no reason, after reconnecting it some how the alarm was disabled and was able to turn on the ignition and start the bike although the alarm did go of twice even thought the led for the alarm was off. I want to the bike this morning turned the ignition on and nothing no display just the side lights and rear?? Could this be coz the battery has gone flat just seems weird that no display but lights are on? Any ideas or just flat battery?
That sounds like the alarm/ immobiliser. Once deactivated the dash illuminates. did you get the beeping when you turned the ignition on? id get it back to the dealer to investigate. It could be a bad connection, water ingress etc. The alarm will go off if the battery is disconnected and its armed as it thinks it's being tampered with. all the disconnecting/ connecting could have buggered it, or it could be something simple. I'd let them sort it.
But theirs no red lights flashing what so ever not even the immobiliser one now. They are picking the bike up on Monday so hopefully they will sort it
Mark picked it up Monday and called me up same day told me the alarm is fooked so he's removed and and fitting a bike trac for me
