848 clock failure

848 street fighter

the clock on my 848 started to flick on and off and now has gone out completely the bike runs fine could this just be a loose connection

Could be, although from memory a 1098 at a trackday had this fault and it turned out to be fuse with a hairline crack through the metal. As it would make the dash flick on and off.

Try replacing the dash/clock fuse.
