848 Evo Running Lumpy

Discussion in 'Technical Help' started by TheAlfa1, May 23, 2017.

  1. Hi all,

My 848evo has started running lumpy between 4 and 6 thousand rpm.
So when I'm cruising at 3-4 thousand rpm if I accelerate doesn't matter if it's hard or soft the bike jerks like it's stalling all the way to 6 thousand rpm, as soon as it passes 6 it runs smooth.

It's not long had a full service. Termignoni slip ons were fitted as my mechanic noted that my bike already had the race ecu and 02 sensor removed, he said this should sort out the problem. Now this is where it gets complicated,
Before the bike went in for the service it ran perfect, bare in mind that I had stock pipes on but unknowing to myself had the race ecu.
Since the bike come back I've had this problem.

    Anyone advise please?

  2. What is the start up message on your dash?

  3. Something like 848evo spk dp.

  4. SBK 848 EVO DP would confirm DP slip on ECU.

  5. Yeah that's it.

So the ecu is correct for the Termigonis?
