848 Replacing Original Levers

Discussion in '848 / 1098 / 1198' started by aleuts, Apr 26, 2015.

  1. Hi guys.

Trying to replace what I believe is the original brembo levers with a pair of pazzo's I was following instructions and odd threads I could find on the forum but it seems my levers are a little different. I don't seem to have a pin attached to my lever instead I have a hole where the pin located in the cylinder rests, it seems mine is in reverse so I'm not quite sure how to attach it as the pazzo's doesn't have that hole.
    I will attach photos below.

  2. looks like you're missing the small cylinder that the pin goes into. i'll try to find a pic.

  3. Thanks. Are the original levers suppose to have these? Because it doesn't seem like mine should. So are my levers not the original ones?

  4. not sure, mate. my 848 came with non original levers on, so i can not say for sure. i hated the shorties and fitted some evo tech longer ones.
just do a google search, it's all there. :upyeah:

  5. i think you need some sort of drift to drive out that pin from the original... something along those lines.
