  1. Hi, i have a 2009 848, sorry for my total lack of knowledge!!! but what is that black pipe that comes out at the front end of the belly pan called, mine has come of and is now dripping oil, many thanks

  2. Hi - I believe it may be the airbox oil recirculation drain.
It drains any excess oil from the recirculation system from the airbox.
    Do you have a picture?

  3. Hi Ricky, thanks for your help, i have added some pictures, not sure if the pipe is complete as not sure where it has broken of from. thanks

  4. Great stuff cheers Ricky, the bike is running great, when after i take it out for a spin, its not until a day or 2 that the oil starts to drip

  5. If yours is fooked I have a spare from a 1098. Would imagine it fits?

  6. If you can't find a replacement (as opposed to buying one) measure the internal diameter of the rubber pipe and by a suitably dimensioned length of hard plastic tubing that you can cut down to a couple of inches in length, to bridge the two ends together. Might be worth you checking inside the airbox, to see if there is anything more sinister going on that is causing the oil to collect in there.
