851 Grommets

  1. Hi everyone, I have a Ducati 851 (1990) and some of the rubber grommets have perished. Does anyone know where I can find replacements? I can't find any suitable ones on ebay. Any advice welcome.

  4. Thanks Borgo, have order a box of these in case they fit.

    To clarify I am looking for the rubber grommets of the 851 fairings, some seem to be an integrated nut and rubber design. Any thoughts where I could find some would be ideal.

  5. You are looking for “well nuts” which, whilst expensive from Ducati, should still be available. Andy

  6. Loads on ebay - 10 M6 for under £4 if you can wait for China post, or £6 from UK sellers.

  7. They are indeed called well nuts (M6 for bodywork, M5 for screens usually) as stated above, they are ridiculously priced from Ducati so buy the same item from eBay for about a quarter of the price!
