Afternoon I posted a question about this a little while back, but I'm still confused (doesn't take much...). I'm going to put the front brake "plumbing" back to original (but with new hoses, obviously). So there's a single hose from the M/C to a manifold on the lower fork clamp, then one hose from the manifold to the calipers. How do the pipes connect to the calipers - as in photo 1 (Top_of_caliper.jpg), or with the bleed nipple at the top (which would make more sense)? I've shown the manifold and the end of the hose which (I assume) attaches to the caliper in the second photo. If anyone has a SP3 with the original brake lines fitted, any chance of a photo? Thanks in advance. Andrew
Google is your friend, plenty of images. The 851 sp3 in Sheffield has the bleed nipple on the top so other way round to your picture. Andy
View attachment 286347 Google is generally one's friend, but not infallible. I always try that first, but couldn't find a clear image of what I want so I thought I'd ask the good folk on this Forum. The SP3 seems to have disappeared from the Sheffield site (presumably long sold) but I found a good clear picture on John Fallon's website (madeinitaly.com). As you rightly say, the bleed nipple is at the top of the caliper, which makes sense? Anyway, thanks for the comment (and you @Roadtrip) View attachment 286347 . Andrew
