As a prospective purchaser, I am looking at several of these beauties on the Bay of E, some seem to fetch around £5K, others dont seem to raise a smile, never mind a bid. They all ( face value) seem like very tidy and well looked after machines _ am I missing something ? I am looking for a classy bit of kit to spend some of my retirement money on - I am one of the lucky bar-stewards who joined his scheme 40 years ago !! I fancy upgrading from the carby 900SS to the next generation of engine, but I am not sure that I want to go as far as 916 ?? I know that a good few of you lovely peeps love your 888's so look forward to plenty of replies and advice !!
