I know it’s an awful thing to say but when ever I see footage of it, I’m still, completely spellbound by it.. The enormity, the bravery, the fear, the hatred and the hope..

Yes, I was in a classroom at Aberdeen College. Lessons for the rest of the day we're scrapped and we all watch the news coverage as all the events unfolded... As said above, seeing footage now still feels like watching a disaster movie! Hard to believe it was 17 years ago too! Amazing how quickly life passes.
I was work, someone had a radio on. I heard the announcement that a plane of some sort had crashed into the North Tower and I was shocked at the enormity of it. I had time to to think, how could such an accident happen and then we heard of the second plane. I think at that point I knew that both planes weren't just light aircraft, they were jet air liners and my blood ran cold. I felt like I had dropped out of reality and into the set of a disaster movie. People were from outside were ringing people in the office, we were all in shock. People say that things changed after 9-11, I feel very much that they did.
It's odd how you always remember exactly where you are when these things happen, the same as when Diana died for example. 9/11 i was watching it unfold behind the counter of a massive film developers called Metro, on Clerkenwell Road, EC1. Metro has long since gone, killed off by the rise of digital photography.
I was listening on a radio at work too and assumed it was a 2 seater Cessna or similar that had unfortunately clipped the tower. An hour later having finished work at 2pm and at home I switched live on news on tv and minutes later watched live coverage of the second plane hitting the tower, it was only then that it dawned on me as to what I was watching..
Admittedly i do love a conspiracy theory but what did really happen? How come that tower 7 ( i think) came down when nothing hit it, etc? Have seen a few documentaries over the years on it and am not convinced it wasn't the work of some sinister people passing it off as the work of other sinister people.
I don't believe that there is an organisation on the planet who could pull off a successful false flag operation such as has been alleged here. There simply isn't that level of competence and water-tight security. Occam's Razor applies here. I know well-educated people who believe that it was a conspiracy and a fit-up. They take physical aspects which are not easily explained and then thread enticing narratives from "experts", to weave a tale of sinister wrong-doing. I've heard them talk, I have seen the videos, there's always a point when where you can point and say, "Ah, yeah, what a minute there, that does not add up". IMO.
Yes I watched those too.. one showed that just before collapse you could see lots of simultaneous puffs of smoke like detonations eg planted explosives... and a missile rather than a plane hitting the pentagon? The heart wrenching sight of the jumpers will always haunt me and the bravery of the Fire crews climbing the stairs of the second tower whilst knowing the first tower had just collapsed, going up while others were desperate to get down, knowing they were probably climbing to their own demise...
I was at a car day at Millbrook, run by Vauxhall. I remember us seeing the first footage on a small black and white portable at the back of reception (when it was being reported as a light aircraft crash). As the details came, fewer people were going out on track, eventually the event was pulled as all the guest were around the tv. I can remember the drive back home up the M1. It was a 40mph procession, very little over taking, very clear that most drivers were tuned in to their radios, looks of incredulity on their faces. Got home and my wife was watching the news and my 3 year old was repeating “Bad men in aeroplanes “ Will never forget that day, and never forgive the scum that carried out the attacks.
I had just moved in with a girlfriend at that time and plugged in the T.V and switched on to see if it was working ok,,,and it sure was...WOWone a mistake yes but two No way
I was in the crewroom in the RAF, watching TV, and the channel suddenly went to newsflash.....Un fucking believable !! Like Pavey, I don't think it all adds up, never have !! Especially building 7's collapse. Strange to say the least, and yes, I have seen the videos saying it was some office bin fires or something ?? But very strange how all these buildings collapsed but others around the globe don't when fire strikes.
I awoke to the news in Lautoka marina, Fiji. The bar was opened so we could watch the horrific footage. There were several American boat crews and of course they were frantic. The tower that collapsed seemingly on its own? The news reports discussing the collapse of the third building twenty minutes or more before it happened, showing film with the tower still in the shot are completely inexplicable. Watch the BBC report at 2.58 talk about the collapsed building (that was still standing). What a disastrous day.
I was working and the garage I did my apprenticeship at ,was terrible news and we were all stood round the radio in the work shop.

I was returning to work for the 1st day after my bad bike accident on 1st July 2001. I remember it was a Tuesday as I had to sign off from sick on the Monday. Came into work on a lateshift and it was on the TV. Never got much done as everyone was watching the events unfold and the towers collapse. Carried out by misguided, selfish, evil cowards.
I still think the towers collapse was too perfect.. I mean when you see a demolition job done on tall chimneys etc they blow out the bottom of the stack and let inertia and gravity do it’s thing.. and both towers although hit high and on one corner did the perfect collapse including the third tower... but why? Why did Bush and co need such an excuse to go looking for Bin Larden etc? I will never forget the look on his face when they told him what had happened while he was at the primary school..
