As title Looking for the the front two brackets and rubbers and both seat cushions for the single seat unit, I know they are still available but trying here first incase someone has any parts kicking about they don't need. Part numbers. 13,14,25,26
Roadtrip, Only just seen this, did you get sort with the brackets after getting your new seat unit (not jealous). Where the rear mounts already fixed to inside of unit or did you have to do them. Photos of assembled item would be nice. Cheers Gaz
Hi Gaz I will order front brackets and seat cushions from Motorapido, as for rear ones there is no fixings and wondering if i really need them, I've seen a couple of ideas on line and this one on ebay has a good idea for some central support . It will be a while before its mounted on the bike as strip and rebuild first. Ducati 900 SL superlight
Roadtrip, Not seen that set up, good idea. I bought a second hand standard seat unit and was going the try and cut that up to fix into single seat unit to help with support (when I get round to getting one). You may want to buy and save yourself the hassle but if you want to make the brackets I have a .dxf or .pdf profile a few other members have used. Cheers Gaz
I glass-fibred in 2 small wooden blocks to support the rear, using OEM brackets and rubber pieces...then some tape on the short parallel tubes to centre and locate correctly.
