hello, i recently had my fuel tank fixed from leaking, but when putting fuel sender unit back in, sadly snapped all four wires off. I still fitted tank to bike as thought it was just for fuel gauge, now bike wil not start. Is the fuel pump powered through the same unit? or any other ideas? Thanks for any help in advance
Yes the pump is via the same connection.....If your bike is the carby version, it should be the red/black and the black wires you need to reconnect....... .......forget the brown and the blue, they are for the fuel level sender, which if it worked before, it wouldn't be very long before it didn't.......besides, you can't see the warning lights in sunshine anyway. Just set your tripmeter and fill up every 100 miles. AL
