hi all im in the process of putting together a ducati 900ss cafe racer its the first of the fuel injection model i want to see if its possible to remove the airbox and replace with pods i also want to run a custom exhaust im building a new loom and running a m unit blue is there a power commander that can piggy back the ecu or can you get a remap many thanks rob
Hi, yes, IME you can run air pods and a custom exhaust on a 900SSie. A PC can help to get the fuelling a little closer through the rev range. The Marelli M1.5 is mappable but it seems most of the people in the UK who worked on them with Ducati no longer have the kit or interest to work on them. The M1.5 was more recently also used on some Moto Guzzis and Harleys and some of those marque specialists still work on them.
