This could be a good indicator as to how much people value/want one of these. If it's anything like the 748 market it will probably go for only slightly less than an MOT'd half decent one! :- DUCATI 900SS carb model - not running/no MOT | eBay
Already at stupid money. A Q plated bike, a non runner, stood for 5 years, so will need tyres, belts, all oils, filter and a brake overhaul. So it needs a good £300-400 spending on it 'if' there's nothing else wrong with it. Looking at the advert it seems DVLA think it's a '99 bike, but the owner thinks it's earlier. Reading between the lines I'd want a good look at the chassis number, if it's there! No doubt it'll go a few hundred quid higher with 8 days to go. So £2k plus to end up with a Q plated bike? Don't forget how much insurance companies love Q plated bikes before you've tried to re-sell it!
