I went on the spur of the moment......in fact I was poodling around and realised a BemSee was on, so I dropped in to watch.... ....and coming home, I got blatted by another Ducati just outside Coddenham...don't know what it was...went past me too bl**dy quick. AL.
I only heard on Friday that there was a meeting on, and we were undecided what to do! Lady in the Lake at Lowestoft, mods and rockers at Hunstanton, Snetterton, anything to avoid the tour of Britain! And we ended up staying at home and missing all that lovely weather!
Ah....see?......That's what you get for debating over too much choice....... ......unfortunately when I got home, it was food time....big dinner.....then mow .25 acres or grass...........Burp.... AL
What the hell do you use on that much grass? We've got just under 1 acre and only 2 ordinary lawn mowers and it takes both of us over 1 hour working flat out to get it done.
The whole plot is about 0.4 acre, so I guessed at 0.25........but with my asthma, it takes about 2.5 hours.......it includes an embankment at 35 degrees, about 5m width. AL.
I know what you mean about asthma, I too suffer, but fortunately it's not too bad. We also have a bank but it's a bit bigger than yours and I use a bush whacker on that cos the mowers don't like running at that angle! Maybe that's in idea for a new thread, how big is your garden!
Ok...if it comes to mine's bigger than yours.....mine is all bank.... (well, nearly all). My mower burns oil when running at that angle, so I keep it topped up with sump oil from the Ducati.......it still keeps going.... AL.
