Hi cookster, thanks for the response. Ideally I'm looking for the OEM matt plastic. Are these just painted examples of those or were they always gloss? I.e., I'm wondering if they could be stripped back to OEM?
You can buy replica mirrors which are not painted and are about £29 each from places like eBay and I think M and P sell them as well. FAR was the original maker of the mirrors and they also might be able to help if you want new ones.
I bought some replica mirrors a few months back off ebay, brand new for £10 each. They were the gloss black ones upon arrival, but I was planning to paint them ducati red anyway. You could always just sand them with some wet & dry to take them back to OEM (ish) Matt colour. For the cash I was happy anyway!
Cheers guys. I've had a look and the M&P examples look the closest match, of course unless the examples cookster has are definitely OEM?
yeah mine are original as thet have FAR on them, as i said though you could put um back to standard as mine have been painted gloss black.
