Says in the alternative part section a BL Mini item can be used as an alternative to the Ducati part.

Anyone able to confirm?

Guess it's a simple 12v relay/switch.

don't know about the mini one fitting but many could be made to fit in the rubber sleeve I guess - it's the small plug that's almost bound to be different. The standard solenoid was used on many Italian bikes for around a 20 year period - Mk I, II and Evo Cagiva Mitos use the same unit and can be had for around £5 - 10 secondhand.
