Anyone any experience in replacing valve guides.. ? My experience with cars back in the day was to put a thread inside the guide ( tap ) and using a puller to remove them.. replacing them we use to shrink freeze them before driving them back in .. Any experience on these Ducati valve guides would be great ..
i had mine done by a firm in Northallerton after it dropped a valve The bloke told me that he heated the head up before pulling the guides out because doing it cold often removes metal and makes them loose requiring oversize guides.
