Hello new too this bit I have just bought a 916 1994 and he tells me it's a strada but on the chassis number it reads 916 s can anyone she's some light on what I have got thanks
Defo strada got a single seat and alloy rear sub frame unless someone had modified it .looks like the chain guard is missing too.
916s the S I belive stands for strada. The best thing to do is get hold of ducati and give them the chassis number. They can confirm the exact model. If it is a 94 strada be worth a lot of money!! So I'd then start putting it back to standard, get rid of the tat on it, unless you like it that way because it's your bike and it's up to you.
Will get straight on it I've got the original front mud gaurd and he said he is digging the original exhausts out for me
I'm in the garage now on the case! So happy with it tho! Been looking for one for a long time then just saw this poking out somones garage yesterday and now it's mine. Will post some pics when it's De ebayed
I think all 916 s have the S on the frame number.Mine has and its a BP.You bike is worth at least £50.Ill give you £60!!!!
Dont ride it with the rear brakeline as it is!!Although the rear brakes are poo,you dont want brake fluid over your paint/tyre.
Congrats on the bike! Agree with all the above about putting it back to std. it'll look much better though I might be tempted to keep the red mirrors on. They don't look out of place and IMO look better.
