Dealer diagnostics show that my engine-management light issue was the vertical-cylinder MAP sensor (2 weeks after end of warranty). Dealer said that the EML wouldn't have cleared if the sensor had failed and suggested checking wiring, air leak, etc. I'm going to take a look; not a simple task on the Hyper - tank off Has anyone got any tank-off tips before I start? I've got a lot of spannering experience but there'll be something I'm sure....
