Help please anyone changed the cush drive on a 959? Reason I ask is I want to have my wheels powder coated and to do this cush drive has to come out. Motorapido struggling to get them out anyone any knowledge please Regards Steve
There a pain. They are very similar on most Ducati conventional swingarm rear wheels. I have used a Rawl bolt locked into the Cush then attach a slide hammer to the thread of the Rawl bolt and slide hammer them out.
Cheers for this mate. Well in the end Motorapido drilled the bloody things out for me. Was expecting a big bill as they must have spent a few hours on it. Offered to pay and told no charge. Brilliant service as ever. Note to anyone else who tries this it is a bitch. regards Steve
