959 Wheel Out

  1. I sold my 55mm socket when I sold my 1098 and now I need to take the wheel out of the 959. Does anyone have one for sale or can anyone lend me one. Wheels will be with the powder coater for three weeks so need it for a month. I am presuming it is a 55mm for the 959?

  2. The 959 has a double sided swinging arm so the socket size is much smaller, possibly 32mm.

  3. Yep. Definitely smaller. 30-something. A google search for 899 rear wheel nut size will no doubt give you the answer. Also, generally very cheap on Amazon when you find the size.

  5. I just checked. You need a 36mm 12 point socket and the torque is 180Nm.
