996 Bar Ends

I need to fit a brake lever guard as I have a track day booked on the 996. Do the standard bar ends just pull out with a bit of brute force

Yes, they are just bungs and can be pulled out fairly easily. I use Mole grips and plenty of padding to stop them from being damaged whilst twisting and pulling them out.

as above, they are tenacious but best time of the year to remove - around 1-2 pm today should help enormously!

New ones are about £1.50 each from a dealer so don't get upset if you damage them.
