Hi, changed the belts on my 996. I'm using the Facom gauge to set the tension, button 4. I watched an online vid that checked/set the tension on the vertical cylinder between the top two cogs but did not show the horizontal one being done. The radiator is in the way on the horizontal one !! Will the readings on the gauge be the same regardless of where it is set on the belt ?? Looking forward to the summer !! Cheers folks.
On my 916 the rad pivots just enough to do it. Or maybe under one bolt to move it slightly. Been two years since I last did it! But tension will be different elsewhere so needs to be done in the right place.
