Decided to sell this, not the best time of year for it I know. Bought last winter for something to do recommissioning it, as it hadn't been used for about 12 years. Everything I've done to it is on here, I'll post the link. £6600 Ducati 996 2001 Biposto ** Please note it will be sold with the original end cans, the Akrapovics will be sold separately. Carbon clutch cover now replaced with original. Last 3 photos show what is fitted now. Few bits of carbon, heel guards, hugger, chain guard. MOT March 2026 22376 miles Full service in January 2025, done approx 200 miles since. New belts New belt pulley bearings All fluids changed, engine oil, coolant, brake, clutch Valve clearance checked, all ok. New air filters, new air box seal New fuel tank filter, O ring, and in tank pipe. Clutch plates thickness and basket checked, all pretty much as new, no wear on basket New Magnecor HT leads and spark plugs New regulator/ rectifier New front brake pads All fairings and plastics are original There is a small mark on each of the rear wheel spokes (see photo), I haven't had them refurb'd as I wanted to retain everything as original. Yes that was the plan, to do classic TD's, and the ducati days and use it on the road a bit. I did few sessions at Cadwell before it rained, and then a morning at Donington on the Ducati TD (hired a new Panigale V4 for the afternoon). It is a great bike, but if I'm honest I think I've got to used to modern toys, QS, brakes that don't fade etc. I always take my V4 PP out on the road as it's brilliant at everything, so just don't use the 996 enough, I think I have to take my rose tinted specs off and sell it.
