996 Heads

hi DD,i have complete 996 heads,barrels,crank,pistons.in fact its the engine minus the casings.

 

A Ducati....

to be honest,all i know is that it is a 996.if you know any ways to check give me a shout and i will go look today.

 

I know he is after the superbike 996 heads rather than the ST4s ones, which have the dropped cam.

If you look at the head with it sitting on the head face, the centre line of the two cams should be parallel to the face.

Have I helped there?

 

I think so - how many injectors per cylinder speno plus is there an engine number? (not sure if I have )

Hi Speno, he's just gone out for a ride, I'll tell him to look here asap. They look like the ones he needs

 

it never came with throttle bodies or cases(everything else is there).it was bought of ebay after a day on the booze.

 

i have all this aswell.plus a few more bits and bobs.

 

115 mm heart to heart on the cams.it looks like 111mm,but that is without the 2 mill either side for the holes.

 

just checked and it is 135mm.

 

i've have looked on interweb,and these to me look like standard 996 bits?.....
