looking to buy this 996 on ebay item (251222805100 for the 4k mark, spoke to alex at ducati pro team who as done alot of the servciing work on the bike over the last 3 years a gave me the thumbs up saying the bike is lovely condition and engine is sound. What do you think ? also can i fit a bip seat onto a mono bike ? colin
Looking at the photos it's hard to tell if it's definitely a bip subframe, I'm going to hazard a guess and say yes it is. You can tell this ordinarily by being able to see the footpeg hanger mountings clearly, this one looks to have them but I'm not 100% certain!! Sorry to be so vague. If not you could always purchase a bip frame at a later date, they aren't huge money. Good alloy mono ones, that's a different story. Bike looks good, good luck mate.
Agree, you can just make out the bolt aove the carbon zorst cover, and the sub frame looks the same colur as frame, I'd expect a mono to have an alli one
