996 workshop manual

  5. Or date to be different and not follow the heard....bah. Besides, I have more pressing matters like alternator nuts, a new clutch, fuel light switch, rear brake switch etc
     
  6. Oh yeah. My bike seems to have a black eye..!! sometimes, in the rain, it looks like it has cataracts. Are the light units sealed, or am i gonna have another big bill.?
     
  7. Densel, the dip beam projector unit strips down and the bulb removed from the main beam leaves a big enough hole so you can get a small rag into each light. First you need to remove the light unit which can be done by removing the height adjustment screw in the middle of the nose fairing under the lights (watch for the spring) and easing the lights unit out of its two mounts. With a small rod like a screwdriver/pencil and some alchohol on a pice of rag you can clean the insides of the lenses.
