  1. Hi guys , what do you think about getting my forks serviced ?? Worth doing or just wait untill a fork seal goes ?? Also I realise there 20 years old now so is there and internal up grade I can do if there apart ?? Cheers

  4. What he said ^^^. I did my own Showas it’s not difficult although a second pair of hands helps when reassembling to compress the spring.

  5. OP was asking about rebuild, not just seals and oil. If it’s got the original internals after all this time and never touched, a rebuild (even if no upgrades) is worth £150 or whatever the cost

  6. True, I suppose they may need new valves as well.

  8. if they've sat for 20 years that oil in there will be like murky water.
    Send them up to Kais, they do a full service for 150 which in the scheme of things isn't at all bad.
