Hi all, I am in the process of rebuilding my 998 (after a track accident that wiped out the ecu connectors along with lots of other things). As I couldn't find a replacement harness and a new one was North of 800 quid I opted to trust it to a reputable electrical guy to replace the connectors. Having now fitted the repaired loom, on ignition on the tacho sweeps to 3K then back to 1K then to zero, there is no priming of the fuel pump or spark at the plugs. Does anyone know if the sweeping of the tacho on ignition on is an error code and if so any ideas as to what they mean?? Any advice gratefully appreciated along with offers of a replacement loom. Many thanks Fugly
There's no error display thru the analogue clocks. I'd guess there's a problem with the wiring.. The sweeping of the clocks could be picking up the signal that should be energising the pump relay?
