So I dropped my 999 at a standstill - just overbalanced - and bent my gear pedal. All, off course, just as I set off on my trip to the UK. Not to worry. I managed to get a new one fitted at a Ducati dealer en route not far away. The mechanic told me that my front pads had almost had it, but he didn't have the right new ones. So today's question: I have heard tell that if you want genuine Ducati Brembo ones you could be paying 4 times what you might pay for some other brands and they wouldn't be any better. a) what brands, specs do you recommend for spirited road riding? b) what would that cost roughly? c) where near Oxford/Reading can I easily get them? (could be a bit further - I don't mind going for a ride).
