Hi All There is a strong smell of petrol around the filler cap , is this normal ? The "rubber " seal looks in good condition and the cap is nicley spring loaded . Any thoughts ?
I had a 999R (effin gorgeous bike). Check under the tank where the pump and filter assembly is fitted. I had the O ring on mine pop twice. Luckily on both occasions it was a very faint weep. If thats the case get it sorted cos you'll notice there is the potential for petrol to drip directly onto the exhaust header. Not good....
