  1. On the way home tonight on a bit of bypass dual carrigway opened the old girl up in 4th , on changing up at at few m p h lots of slip , guy in Aston Martain must have been impressed with the noise !
The bike recently had Sureflex clutch plares ect so i presume they are still im good nick .
Any ideas before a full clutch strip taking 10 mins or so ?
Perhaps the bike is so powerful the clutch cant take it _ joke .

  2. Stack height too low would be my first guess, you'd be unlucky if the seal at the back of the hub has let go and leaking oil onto the plates

  3. Just taking apart now , no oil .

  4. No oil?? I should hope not

Like freak says check the stack height I go at about 37mm. Try bleeding it up, there is a bleed nipple in the reservoir as well as the one on the slave cylinder

  5. The stack height is 37.85 mm including the dished metal cluch plate , 36 mm with out so if i am correct it would apper ok .
May be just a good clean needed .

  6. Don't forget to locate the pressure plate correctly so it isn't riding on the hub

  7. Yep

  8. The pressure plate has an triangle which lines up with the slotted post on the clutch centre.
