Had a run out with some mates ,it started with a run up to Squires ,to meet up with them for a ride to Whitby, must have been 10 of us, left squires 20 mile on one lad got a puncture got him patched up ,got to a garage to blow his tyre up and the multi had spewed oil out down the front forks and onto the front mudgaurd :frown:, easily fixed connection to the cooler came loose ,thankfully didn't get onto the pads and discs . The rest of the day passed without anything else happening ,until on the way home stopped at Trowell services to rest my numb bum and spotted a pinhole in my tyre , on closer inspection it was a thorn ,a quick saliva test showed it was loosing air :frown: so jumped back on quick and got myself home . I would love to wear a back tyre out properly , the last one got cut to the canvas by a piece of glass in the lakes, when it was only half worn ,this ones done about 2000 miles :frown:
Absolutely. Never chucked a tyre in my life after a puncture unless the sidewall is damaged, otherwise a repair with a proper mushroom bung is perfect.
I am hoping to get a repair in this one ,the other one the cut was an inch long to the canvas ,it was just to big for a repair.I've had them repaired before.
