Due to me spoiling myself with a Hilleberg, I have a couple for now for sale. They're priced cheaply, just because I will never use them. First is a cheapie - North Ridge Col Lite (one man). Never used apart from a test pitch and no longer sold. I bought it and decided I wasn't a camper. Decent little thing, weighs around 2kg. Complete as it came, with pegs and stuff sack. £50 Posted Next is a bit more posh - Sierra Designs Hercules 3 AST (2-3 man). I bought this from a camping nerd and used for one two day trip. It again is obsolete, but was regarded as the strongest tent in its class. Good for one man and gear, or two people in the real world - three would need to be undernourished. Everything with it - really well put together. The only bad bit is the crows foot type pole ends are attached by elastic, which have lost their elasticity, so instead of 'popping' into place, you have to feed them in (just a bit fiddly). Photo's show inner alone and fully set up, draped with my soiled base layers. This weighs about 4kg and is a really great biking tent. £125 posted. Collection always welcome from WA10
Apologies, I thought I had previously. Now complete But I'll be asking for it back if no sale I've just had them out to check all the bits and they are both decent - offers welcome. The posting is the ball ache for me, not the actual sale price.
I'm not going to bump these, so if anyone finds the thread at a later date and needs a tent for a random weekend or similar, just let me know. Postage is a real fag anyway, so may as well keep them for a rainy (hope not) day, as the sale amount won't make a difference to me to be fair, just wanted the space.
