749 A Little Bit Of Work Over The Winter

  1. Well my bike has been in the shop over the winter getting some work done...the longer it sits the longer the list becomes of things done lol.
    Just waiting on Oz wheels and new power commander with a dyno at this point. IMG_2304.JPG IMG_0663.JPG

  6. ust thought I would throw out there what I have had done and see if anyone has any other suggestions while its still winter here.
    Changed oil.
    Rebuilt front forks...Ohlins oil.
    Flushed and changed all Hydraulic fluids.
    Serviced callipers and new pads.
    New Symco hoses.
    Air filters.
    cleaned and greased front and rear ends.
    Ohlins rear shock.
    Ohlins steering damper.
    Termi exhaust.
    Lightweight flywheel.
    Lithium battery
    Power Commander with Dyno.
    Flashed ECU.
    New Cam belts.
    Checked valves.
    Oz wheels.
    STM slipper clutch.
    Am I missing anything?

  18. OEM starting circuit cables are notoriously inadequate, poorly specced and poorly made. An ExactStart cable kit will transform the starting of your bike - a cable kit was the best money I've ever spent on my 999.

    @Exige Thought its worth a mention, Cable kit received and fitted to the 888, Cracking quality for sure(added a photo of one of the original cables along side exact start ones, Fit is 100% hassle free, Yikes whats Ducati been playing at :eek: Theres a hell of a difference in the starting( not a little but a big difference) didn't expect such an improvement tbh, Thanks for a cracking service Stu, few photo's
